Come in - the gateway to Tyrol is yours !

The region is a paradise of nature, nestled between majestic mountains and clear-blue lakes next to the border of the bavarian "Allgäu". Its rural charm and urban flair gives this holiday region a special touch.

come in !

You may wonder why Reutte and its municipalities are using

the advertising slogan "gateway to tyrol" ?

First, because you enter our holiday region at the moment you cross the border from Germany to Austria. But also because our region offers everything that can be found in our beautifuel country - pure nature, majestic landscapes, mountains, lakes, rivers, valleys, culinary delights, culture, hospitality, ski slopes . . . .

Reutte as the regional center, Breitenwang, Ehenbichl, Höfen, Lechaschau, Pflach, Pinswang, Musau, Wängle, Vils and the communities of our region.

Our hotel can be found in the nature-park commuinity of "Breitenwang".

The village of Breitenwang extends over a large municipality and accommodates more than 1750 residents. Its settlement is now merged with the main town of Reutte, but Breitenwang can look back on a much older history. Already in the 12th century Breitenwang went down in history with the death of the German-roman Emperor Lothar II. He died in a farmhouse when he was passing through Breitenwang. The inscription on this farmhouse can be found within 50 meters from our hotel.

The landscape of Breitenwang is harmoniously embedded in the basin of Reutte. Breitenwang is a wonderful base for hiking in the area. With its beautiful location our town is your special holiday location for the whole family.

water - clean and clear: the Lech - a unrestrained river

The Lech the oldest inhabitant of our high-lying valley. We should make him freeman of our region.

The Lech is one ot the few unspoilt rivers in Europe. A large number of protected species of plants grow in the pastures of the Lech. Top water quality !

And not only the Lech - wherever you walk through Reutte, splashing fountains from which you can drink safely.

Health from the womb of the alps.

the Lech - tho oldest inhabitant or our region !
